10 Second CPS Test - Sustained Click Speed

Ten seconds is long enough to give you a reliable CPS reading, but short enough that most people finish without their hands getting tired. That makes it one of the most useful time modes for getting a realistic picture of how fast you actually click during normal use.

A lot of players default to this test because a 1 or 2 second result can be a fluke - one lucky burst does not mean much. Ten seconds smooths that out and gives you something worth tracking over time.

What This Test Measures

Most people click fast at the start and slow down a bit by the 5 or 6 second mark without realizing it. If your live CPS counter drops noticeably mid-test, your fingers are losing the rhythm. A steady pace from start to finish gives you a better score than going all-out for 3 seconds and then tiring out. Try keeping your speed consistent rather than starting as fast as possible.

What Score Should You Aim For?

In 10 seconds, landing 60 to 80 total clicks puts you in the normal range for regular clicking. That works out to 6 to 8 CPS. Reaching above 80 total clicks means your pace is above average. Minecraft PvP players use this test because 10 seconds roughly matches the length of a typical combat fight, so the score translates directly to how you perform in-game.

What is a good CPS score in 10 seconds?

A CPS of 6 to 8 over 10 seconds is solid for regular clicking. That works out to 60 to 80 total clicks. Holding 8 CPS or above consistently over 10 seconds shows good sustained clicking endurance.

Why does my CPS drop compared to shorter tests?

Your fingers slow down slightly over a 10 second window compared to a short 1 or 2 second burst. The 1 second score shows your maximum speed for one push. The 10 second score shows your average over a longer effort. The two measure different things, so a lower number on the 10 second test does not mean something is wrong - it just means your body behaves the same way everyone else's does.
